Heart & Stroke

Project Red is a fully student-run organization at Queen’s University that promotes a healthy active lifestyle while raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Considering the horrifying statistics in Canada surrounding heart disease and stroke, we feel compelled to raise funds and awareness for the cause.

We aim to positively influence university students and the Kingston community to better their health now and in the future. Project Red's main fundraiser is the annual Charity Fashion Show, which displays the individuality and creativity of Queen's students who are ultimately devoted to a common goal. This highly anticipated event is made possible by the hard work of student designers, dancers, models, photographers, videographers and technical crews.

Stroke is a medical emergency. If you experience any of these signs, call 9-1-1. Do not drive to the hospital. An ambulance will get you to the best hospital for stroke care

OUR PROGRESS

Through the many fundraisers we have hosted and the help of so many friends, family members, and supporters, we have currently raised over $200,000 since our conception in 2010.
